Colombia’s geography is prime for mountain biking, but it’s not yet on the map as a shred-worthy mecca. Santa Fé de Antioquia is a charming colonial town nestled along the banks of the Cauca River, sitting at an altitude of 500 meters (1640 feet) above sea level. Located just 60 km (37 miles) west of Medellín, this town is known for its picturesque summer houses with inviting swimming pools.
The surrounding mountains tower as high as 2600 meters (8530 feet), offering a plethora of epic downhill trails to explore. Among them, three trails start at the same summit, providing breathtaking views and desert-like conditions that make for an unforgettable ride. These trails have even hosted national enduro races and maintain predictable riding conditions even during rainy season. So whether you’re a seasoned pro or a novice rider, Santa Fé de Antioquia is sure to offer an exciting and unforgettable mountain biking experience.

Located 50 kms (31 miles) south of Medellin, Santa Barbara is a charming town perched on the ridge of the eastern mountain range at 1800 meters above sea level (5900 feet). The area is home to several muleteer trails that descend to the Buey river at 800 meters above sea level (2600 feet). These trails were traditionally used by avocado, mango, sugar cane, and lemon farmers to transport their harvest to Santa Barbara’s market, but have now become a playground for mountain bikers.
Two enduro national races have been held here, and the local mountain biking community works closely with the farmers to maintain the trails and support the community. The trails all converge at an abandoned cement factory in the village of “El Cairo,” from which the network takes its name.

Experience the thrill of long and steep downhill tracks with vertical drops of up to 1500 meters. From Medellin, we’ll provide transportation to Llano de Ovejas, a picturesque village at 2548 meters above sea level, where four different trails await. Each trail takes us all the way down to San Jerónimo, situated at 780 meters above sea level. These trails are favorites among the local downhill riders and boast single tracks with perfect berms, small kickers, and technical sections such as rock gardens or steep chutes with sharp corners.
After more than 17 kilometers of exhilarating downhill riding, we’ll load our bikes into the truck and head to a nearby picnic area by the river near San Jerónimo. Here, we can relax and enjoy a cold beer and some well-deserved rest.

The Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape, declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO, is a unique blend of architecture, traditions, gastronomy, and breathtaking landscapes. The largest airport in the coffee region is located in Pereira (Code: PEI, Name: Matecaña International Airport). With a one-hour flight from Medellín, you’ll arrive in Pereira while your bikes are transported by vehicle to ensure a seamless travel experience.
This also eliminates the need for bike disassembly/assembly tasks. Our staff in the coffee region will be waiting for your arrival to drive you to your accommodations in this picturesque part of our country.

Salento is a charming town in the Andean region of Colombia, located in the department of Quindío. It’s famous for its coffee farms, picturesque scenery, and especially the stunning Cocora Valley. The town’s colorful houses and balconies make it a perfect spot for tourism in Colombia.
We’ll ride high-quality trails and singletracks that have been used for downhill and enduro competitions, including the National Enduro Cup of Colombia. We’ll explore exciting trails like “Alegrias” and “Media Pinera”, which will leave us with unforgettable memories of this beautiful town. After a full day of cycling, we’ll head back to our hotel for a well-deserved rest.

This mountain biking adventure is the perfect mix of bike park-style enduro trails and natural all-mountain trails, allowing you to experience the true essence of the Coffee Cultural Landscape, which has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
Our day begins with a thrilling ride on the best trails in Neira, a charming coffee town located near Manizales. The local riding community has built these trails themselves, and they are sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Next, we’ll ride along rocky paths and roads that offer stunning views of the Cauca River canyon. These natural trails will once again put your biking skills to the test.
We’ll conclude our ride with two of the most famous trails in the country: “Bisoño” and “El Infernal.” These trails have been the scene of numerous national enduro mountain biking and downhill championships.
Around 2:00-3:00 pm, we’ll take a break for a well-deserved lunch and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Afterward, we’ll rest a bit before returning to our accommodation via transportation.

Prepare for an unforgettable adventure through the Colombian coffee region, where we will ride through stunning landscapes and incredible descents, from the snow-capped mountains of the Nevado del Ruiz volcano at almost 4,000 meters above sea level to the heat of the Sub-Andean jungle, perfect for mountain biking.
Our route will take us on the internationally recognized “El Desquite” trail, originally used by mules and horses. Covering 35 kilometers, this route descends almost 3000 meters of elevation and includes technical single trails, grass trails, and uncovered roads. Don’t let the enormous negative slope fool you – there will be challenging uphill segments, including the “bike on the shoulder” and the dreaded “climb to heaven.”
At the end of our tour, we’ll take a break for lunch, and then a transport will take us back to our lodging. Don’t miss this incredible experience!
